Goan Tempero Cheiroso |
Ingredients:
3 tablespoon coriander seeds
2 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon peppercorn (black pepper)
40 cloves
20 cardamom
6" cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Directions:
1. Grind all the whole spices to a powder. If making the roasted version, individually dry roast the spices prior to grinding them.
2. Mix with turmeric powder.
3. Store in an air-tight jar.
I tried out both the recipes, the goan pork roast with the goan tempero-cheiroso. Firstly it was AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteI have only one comment, the kashmiri chillis added flavor but the dish lacked spiceness.
